    Second Tier Hospitals List

An industry-based Second Tier Benefits Advisory Committee (the Committee) assesses applications from private hospitals and day surgeries and makes recommendations to the Minister for Health and Ageing on the eligibility of applicants to receive the benefit.

Before applying for 2nd tier eligibility, facilities should first familiarise themselves with the Administrative arrangements for the second tier default benefits for overnight or day only treatment as outlined by the Department of Health and Ageing in their  PHI Circulars.

The following is a list of Facilities eligible to receive 2nd Tier Hospital Benefits as at 6 April 2011.
